Why Cultural Resources Matter
Culturally responsive peer mentoring focuses on OT professionals from the community meeting with students that are currently enrolled in an OTA/OT program, via a videoconferencing platform, once a month to discuss topics that commonly arise while in OT school and duringafieldwork experiences. The goal of this culturally responsive mentoring is to provide a safe-space, outside of the higher education environment to ask questions and receive feedback from local OT practitioners, who have successfully pave the way before you.
This page will contain a repository of the topics and resources shared. If you are interested in attending as either a mentor or mentee, please use the contact page to reach out for more information.
